Social Media Manager

Reports to: Marketing Manager/Marketing Director

We are happy to be recruiting for newly launched fashion brand, based in Ilford, London.  They are now looking for an experienced, ambitious Social Media Manager to grow the social media following and join their passionate, fast paced London based team.

This is a very important hands-on, roll your sleeves up role and you’ll be responsible for all social media channels and blogger activity globally.  They want to be creative and capture the minds and hearts of the customers and stand out from the competition.

If you have the vision and ideas to create an ever-changing dynamic brandfor their customers, then you'd be perfect for their team.

The role is carried out in support of the overall marketing strategy which you may also need to assist with. You’ll need to work closely with the team and agencies to ensure to ensure content is of high quality, current and in keeping with the brand identity along with key KPIs for driving traffic to the website and increase sales.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop the social media strategy and be the brand’s voice on social media including management of our daily posts, live tweeting, responding and escalating as necessary on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and staying engaged in the conversation
  • Maintaining the social media platforms with fresh new content by organising and co-ordinating all necessary assets for a social media posts
  • Assist in execution of new initiatives to help grow the social fan base across all platforms
  • Be current across all new fashion trends, emerging technologies and social communities – specifically within the video e-commerce space, use analytics tools to track the reach and influence of social media
  • Develop relationships and projects with bloggers and high profile influencers to gather content and strengthen the brand
  • Build relationships with external brands and generate leads for prizes to give away across social media platforms
  • Conduct regular competitor research to ensure the social media strategy remains ahead of the competitive set
  • Execute best practice across all social media platforms
  • Weekly reporting of performance and competitors review
  • Recruit, manage and motivate a team as the business grows

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working at a fashion brand with exposure to ecommerce
  • Experience across all social platforms
  • Use of Analytics tools
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Experienced use of Microsoft office
  • Passion for marketing, fashion and achieving as a team
  • Determination to succeed in a high pressure environment
  • You should be highly motivated, with excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
