Social Media Manager

This hands on Social Media Manager role will see you responsible for leading and implementing the social media campaign activations and social engagement, alongside a small marketing team.

What will you do? As Social Media Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, drive traffic, and generate leads for both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels.
  • Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other relevant and emerging social media platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities, including posting content, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring trends.
  • Analyse social media data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing objectives and campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into our strategy as appropriate.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.

As a Social Media Manager, you will ideally have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
