Our client is a Marketing leader in the medical sector and they are looking for a UK Head of Marketing due to an internal promotion.

The UK Marketing Manager will lead the marketing function in the UK and is responsible for driving the marketing strategy and tactics across several markets. You will work closely with the country manager, sales and product specialists to influence and execute marketing programs and initiatives to accelerate growth. You will manage the images and brand of our client to maximize brand value and reputation in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities
Driving our client to become the market leading supplier in their sector the UK
Work closely with Country Manager to develop and execute strategic marketing plans.
Manage marketing budget to achieve maximum positive impact for the brand in the respective markets.
Lead and develop local marketing executive and sales development specialist to achieve strategic objectives and maximise their potential and personal development.
Drive projects and programmes to drive business expansion and growth.
Drive, evaluate and measure marketing strategies, programmes and product launches; providing regular analytics and recommendations for optimisation.
Represent UK at relevant internal corporate marketing meetings and external conferences, symposia, exhibitions etc.
Support coordination and development of marketing tools, trade show equipment, literature, presentations and publicity activities.
Maintain the UK website and social media channels.
Manage the marketing relationship with industry bodies; fostering relationships to help drive the business.
Prepare and present at quarterly sales meetings and monthly business meetings.
Regularly read industry trade publication and conduct online information searches to keep up-to-date on client news, its competitors and industry trends.
Support country management by serving as monitor to ensure compliance with Company Code of Ethics on interactions with healthcare professionals, related key company policies and local regulations and guidelines.

Skills and Attributes
Experience marketing to the medical industry would be advantageous, especially into the NHS.

Experience Required
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 8 years marketing experience. Someone who has demonstrated a high level of competency and leadership of a local marketing function
Should be able to demonstrate examples of delivering successful campaigns and commercial marketing with strong ROI.
